John Park
John Park has an extensive background in the footwear industry. As the former founder and CEO of Sportsland Inc, John led a very successful business as The Athlete’s Foot and multi-concept retails shops, primarily as a Nike Authorized Retailer, managing over 200+ corporate and franchised shops with annual revenue of over $100 million from brand including Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Vans, New Era, Timbaland, etc. John was innovative in his approach, create several Multi-concept retail shops like TAF UP, Aficionado, AKIN, SNYX, GameTime Sports, Nike Kobe Basketball Shop, Team Pro Shop, Nike Bo Jackson Baseball Shop, Nike Zuza Store, and more. Sportsland Inc operated the highest volume urban retail franchise chain in the country and was the largest urban independent retailer of Nike in the United States.
John also was the founder and CEO of The Athlete’s Foot Korea and SIW which operated over 100 corporate and franchise stores in South Korea. SIW owned the distribution rights to notable footwear brands such as DKNY, Diesel, Marc Jacobs, and New Balance for South Korea.
Currently, in addition to being co-founder of CODE by Gentry, John also Master Liscensee and/or Principle of Park Realty, K&P Realty, Dubai Park Investments, Dairy Queen Korea, Olive Garden Korea, Palgong Tea USA, Nolboo USA, Bo Jackson’s Elite Sports, Code Footwear, FHI Heat, Franchisee of Wyndham Hotels, and JL&Company.
